General Information
The Tombolo Talasso Resort has 96 rooms, junior suites and suites facing the sea or the gardens. All are slightly different in shape and in the matching of colors and materials to satisfy a variety of personal tastes and needs: from ethnic furnishings, to bathrooms completely decorated in mosaic, from warm sand shades which evoke the desert to modern white furniture and abstract paintings, from oriental pastel tints, rattan futons and arabesque decors to traditional warm beige walls with paintings of the Tuscan countryside.
Like everything at the Tombolo Talasso Resort, the restaurant assures its Guests quality, variety and tradition. With its adjoining Wine Bar lounge and the large outdoor terrace overlooking the sea, the ground floor Restaurant is the ideal environment to discover and taste the art of the local cuisine combined with Mediterranean and International flavours .
The main ingredients are olive oil produced in Castagneto Carducci, meat from the local cattle farms, typical local game like wild boar, cheese of local production and of course fish from the nearby Gulf of Baratti. Low calorie recipes are available too, in agreement with the wellness philosophy of this Lifestyle Resort.
To go along with these naturalrecipes the restaurant of the Tombolo Talasso Resort offers its guests a wide selection of national and international wines of the highest quality.
Almost 300 labels among which, of course, the best Bolgheri wines.
The Tombolo Talasso Resort has two meeting rooms, the Piero Ieri Room and the Cobalto Room. For both rooms the standard setting includes chairs, table for lecturers, sound proofing, air conditioning, adjustable lighting, water supply and technical equipment like overhead projector, microphones and video-projector.
Other services can be supplied on request like: welcome drinks, coffee breaks, business lunches, buffets, gala dinners, hostess service, music, security service, guided tours of the main cities of art, guided wine tastings, shuttle service, outdoor training activities, team building, team working.
Marina di Castagneto is on the Tuscan coast, 75 km. south of Pisa and 240 km. north of Rome and is well connected by road, rail and air to all major cities.

HOW TO REACH THE TOMBOLO TALASSO RESORT
From North: Take the A12 highway (South direction), until the exit Rosignano. Then get the freeway E80 in direction Grosseto. After 25 km circa exit at Donoratico. At the round-about, follow the Marina di Castagneto Carducci’s directions. Go straight down the tree lined street (Via della Colonia) and at the end of it, get the third street on the right. The Tombolo Talasso Resort is at the end of the street.
From Florence: Get the freeway FI-PI-LI. When you see the exit for the A12 highway, go out towards the South. Continue in the same direction until the exit Rosignano Marittimo. Exit from the highway and carry on the freeway E80 towards Grosseto. After 25 Km circa get the Donoratico exit. At the round-about, follow the Marina di Castagneto Carducci’s directions. Go straight down the tree lined street (Via della Colonia) and at the end of it, get the third street on the right. The Tombolo Talasso Resort is at the end of the street.
From South: Take the A12 Roma – Civitavecchia. When you get to Civitavecchia, take the freeway E80 in Grosseto direction and exit at Donoratico. At the round-about, follow the Marina di Castagneto Carducci’s directions. Go straight down the tree lined street (Via della Colonia) and at the end of it, get the third street on the right.
